THOMAS MOORE has a second career as a writer and began writing screenplays
in 2001.
THE REAL TRUTH was a finalist at Cinequest's 2006 Screenplay Contest
and made it to the 2006 Second Round at Sundance Screenwriter’s
Lab. In the recent past, the script has been a Quarterfinalist at New Century
Writer’s Awards, Semifinalist at American Accolades Screenplay Contest,
was awarded CineStory's Screenwriter’s Retreat Award, was chosen for readings
at Reel Roundtable’s NYC Stage One series and Naked Angels, NYC Tuesdays@
Nine cold reading series.
SESSIONS won the CineStory 2005 award for best short script. I am currently turning
that short into a feature-length script.
As a NYC playwright, I was represented by Writers & Artists Agency and Bertha
Klausner Literary Agency. My credits include: Edward Albee Foundation and Blue
Mountain Fellow; Drama League of NY ‘Best Play-in-Progress’; Playwright’s
Horizons Theatre School Scholarship. My plays were a finalist at New Dramatists,
Mixed Blood Theatre Company, and Virginia Beach One-Act Festival. Readings include:

Circle Repertory Company's Lab.
